Young Moorestown scholars in grades K-12 are serviced by the Moorestown Township Public Schools. This district includes three K-3 elementary schools, George C. Baker, Mary E. Roberts and South Valley. Moorestown Upper Elementary School is available for grades 4-6, William Allen Middle School covers grades 7-8, and Moorestown High School takes care of grades 9-12.

The Student Association and the class officers comprise the students? executive leaders who advise and assist the administration. The Interact Club provides students with active citizenship and community service opportunities outside the classroom. Athletic excellence is another hallmark at MHS. Moorestown fields 27 sports programs with 52 teams at varsity, JV and freshmen levels. Their teams have won multiple NJ State Championships in Girls? Lacrosse, Girls Field Hockey, Tennis, Football, Boys Lacrosse and more. As of 2005, the Girls? Lacrosse program was ranked #1 in the United States. Many prominent colleges recruit heavily here, due to the academic and sports achievement for which the town is well known.
Moorestown Friends School is a private Quaker school located at East Main Street and Chester Avenue. The school serves approximately 700 students from Pre-School through 12th grade.
